Don't call it a come-back...

...I've never been here before.
My first win at a Hold-'em tourney was at Fat Dawgs in Forney. There were only ten of us playing but a win is a win. I had the extreme pleasure of giving my little brother a bad beat on the second or third hand of the night when I went all-in on the flop with the nut flush Ac-Kc and he called with Qc-Jc. That gave me such a chip lead that I could afford to make some questionable calls to see lots of flops. We started with two tables but went to one with five players. The chip lead went around the table a few times. I got lucky all game with some great hole cards and matching flops. In the end at heads-up I was second to act and my opponent went all-in. I had him out-chipped maybe 4-1 so a call and loss wouldn't kill me, plus I had two paint cards, so I called. He had a pair of sevens against my Q-J off-suit. The flop came Q-X-X and the turn and river didn't hit for him. Oh the sweet taste of victory! For all my patience and less than 2 hours time I was awarded a $25 gift certificate for Fat Dawgs. If you read the not-so-fine-print on the gift certificate you will discover that it is not valid for the purchase of alcohol or gratuity.
This particular bar/grill is known for its hot-dogs which I used to love tremendously. Alas, I am a recently renewed vegeterian and their nachos and fried cheese aren't that special. I will probably use the $25 on buying dinner on the way home for my carnivorous family. Unless there is finer print forbidding to-go orders!
